Our Story

Where we started...

Victory Christian Fellowship started years ago as an outreach at Penn State University by Christ Community Church. Since then, Victory has had many faces come through our doors, both staff, and students. The reality of being a college ministry is that we have very little time together. That means we take the time we have together very seriously, so when you are with us, you are family, period. It's our trademark, often referring to ourselves as the Victory family when hanging out.

Expanding the vision...

The desire to see our friends and family come to know Jesus in a deep and personal way is in our DNA. In pursuit of making this a reality, we have experienced bumps and bruises that have given us invaluable lessons. Victory has learned to adapt from year to year and from semester to semester to best reach our campus. During the Pandemic, we decided to expand our reach by establishing our own location. Through our journey to see our community meet Jesus, we have grown to three staff members and several student leaders dedicated to meeting the needs of those who walk through our doors.

Currently we have three staff members and another one coming on board. We are growing and never plan to stop.

Where we are headed...

Growing never stops. We believe that if we are not advancing, we are failing. Our goal has never changed, but our methods do. To better achieve this, we plan to continue to expand our influence in downtown State College. We want to be a place students can call their own. We believe that we can do that best through an open, inviting, and Spirit-filled space. If you are interested in getting to know us feel free come check out during our lounge hours!
